I’ll Be Sick on My Birthday…Yay!

I felt like a pile of smoldering crap last night and I fear tonight will be no different. Didn’t help that Jaylen decided to stay up for a whole hour last night (from 3-4am), just like he has since the beginning of the week. My nose was running like crazy so I ended up stuffing toilet paper in my nostrils to get some peace–it’s so damn annoying. I was trying to seduce Mario but I guess the toilet paper hanging out of my nose just wasn’t working for him .

First thing I did when I woke up was take my pill, which I forgot to take yesterday. I took it on an empty stomach–BIG mistake. I had horrible cramps all frickin’ morning. I couldn’t even stand straight while I was ironing and had absolutely no strength to stand and make Mario breakfast. He told me not to worry about it and I just laid on the couch with Jaylen and ended up falling asleep. I’m in the “aching body” stage of the cold. I’m praying I don’t get a fever tomorrow–which is what usually happens after the aches and pains. I was so relieved when Mary called to tell me that Sonia would be picking Eenan up from school since Noelia wasn’t coming home (it’s her and Andy’s 2 month anniversary today!). I couldn’t move. I just started feeling okay a few hours ago, so I’ve been trying to clean up a bit but ugh…I feel…tired. I just hope I’m not completely miserable tomorrow. It should be a happy day ! We’re all getting together at Yadira’s for my birthday and are having lasagna and spaghetti for dinner . I’m finally getting into the “birthday spirit”.

Jaylen just woke up and is about to throw a fit. This shall be an interesting night.

lmao I swear everytime you get sick, I’m sick. It’s like our sinuses are attached or something. My allergies have been acting up horribly lately. I have to squint to see because my eyes are so messed up. And I’ve been having the sniffles and aches too. No fun at all. Hopefully you start coughing soon, I know it doesn’t sound good and it’s no fun but normally a cold is reaching it’s end when you hit the coughing stage. And oo Happy Birthday!
