Help! Going Bonkers!
I’ve been reading the Driving Handbook for the past few hours (with cooking/dinner/pee breaks in between) and I’m seriously going bananas. Wonderful readers of mine, I need your help! I got a comment from a lovely lady and she gave me some tips about the driving tests. I can’t ask Mario for help because he was exempt from the tests (he did the Parent-teacher thing) so I have a question:
What was on the test? What type of questions do y’all remember being in the test?
I’ve tried looking for some type of practice test online but have had no luck. I’d really appreciate the help! ![]()

Distances following behind a car should you turn off your high beams, distances facing oncoming cars should you turn off your high beams, turning on your headlights when entering a workzone, right of way, which is always the person on the left that goes first, etc..
If you’d like some help, or have questions, you can e-mail me and I can do my best to answer you.
Another thing is for you and your brother to ‘play’ this ‘game’, of him asking you a question, and if you get it wrong, you wash his clothes, or vice versa. LOL. Weird, I know, but it works! =)

the written part of the test was pretty easy. Just like every one else says, pretty much common sense stuff. signs, colors , types of road markings and what not.
What I was most concerned about was the parrallel parking ahhhhhh!!! My hubby failed 2 times right off the bat because he kept hitting the little flag when he’d try to parrallel park!!! I was sooo scared of that part! but the place I got my DL from didn’t even make me do it! woo hoo!!!
I still can’t parrellel park to save my life! hehehe.

Ah girl. Chillax! š I can’t really remember the questions on the regular driving exam, but since I take bus drivers to DPS all the time, I kinda know what’s on the CDL exam and next week I can tell ya what’s on the motorcycle exam. Basically it’s situational questions and knowledge questions. Some are about types of signs and what different colors mean. Others are about right of ways, types of road markings, signals, etc. I don’t remember too much about it. Just use common sense and memorize important info in the handbook as much as you can. š You’ll do fine! I’m so excited for you that you’re getting your license!
