Got back from Yadira’s a while ago (where we were watching the hideous Seed of Chucky…I now dislike puppets) and I’ve been downloading music ever since. Why does the song “What a Wonderful World” make me sad? No matter who sings it, it makes me want to curl under a blanket and bawl .

So does the “Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World” medley (can’t remember who sings it, it sounds Hawaiian) by Israel Kamakawiwo`ole. It’s so beautiful, but I can’t hear the full thing without getting a lump in my throat!

Two songs I’ve recently fallen in love with are “Beyond the Sea” by Robbie Williams and “Come Fly With Me” by Michael Bublé. They make me feel like I’m somewhere else…like, the beach somewhere with Mario and the boys away from all the cares in the world *dreams*. I think I’ll upload them to the site since they “match” my new skins .

Getting sleepy, so I’m going to go lay on the couch with Mario. We’ve got a long day tomorrow.

All those songs are very great. I fell in love with “beyond the sea” when I watched “finding nemo” 🙂 And the “over the rainbow – what a wonderful world” has catched my attention since I watched “meet joe black”… I cried like crazy at the end of that movie and always when I listen to that song I think of it – it’s beautiful though 🙂 Take care! xox

Israel’s version of that “what a wonderful world” is soooo nice.. makes me wanna melt everytime I hear it. when I heard it on 50 1st dates at the ending It really made me cry. they always play that song at work, too. so I feel so relaxed. me and Jon loves that, too. when we went around the island here in hawaii we we’re playing that song and it’s just so nice… awww….. 😉

I remember when I was little, getting ready for church, and some show had “What a Wonderful World” on it. Yeah, it’s a sad one.

Israel’s song is one of my favorites! It is my aunt and uncle’s wedding song and when we go to Hawai`i on vacation, we hear it constantly on the radio. It’s such a beautiful song. I could just replay it over and over again. 😀

I made a little playlist of songs for the new baby, and “What a Wonderful World” was on it. I will ALWAYS cry when I hear that song. The other one that almost always makes me tear up (well, everything does during this hormonal time, but the one that gets me ALL the time) is “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge. I didn’t like it very much during the movie, but I heard it after I had Elias and I thought if it was sung about a new baby, the whole thing is so sweet and profound. 🙂
