Bring on the Sleepy

I had a pretty productive afternoon after work.

I ate lunch in 10 minutes, raced home to pick up some stuff I needed to exchange. Went to the mall after work and returned my stuff. Wanted some congnac-colored wedges for my dress tomorrow but there were no size 5’s left; story of my life. Still, I found a cute blouse for work for $4 and a coral cardigan for $12. It came with a hideous black dress with palms on it o_O, but I really wanted that cardigan. It’s perfect for my dress :).

I tried Payless and Call it Spring and had no luck. The guy at Spring suggested some tan suede platform sandals and I happen to have the exact pair so I’ll be wearing those. I’m taking my flip flops as back up though!

I got home and made homemade pizzas with the girls. They both love to help in the kitchen and enjoyed it :). It felt great to laugh and kick back with them!

We ate and I talked with my boys for a good hour or so. I’ll be picking them up early tomorrow since the Fashion Show is tomorrow and I’m assisting. Mario agreed to let me, thank God. I was stressing. I HATE that our events are usually on Thursday!

I bathed the girls, gave them their cold meds, put them in bed and I chatted with my love for a bit on Skype. I miss him :(. He’s out of town for training/a convention/certification exam and won’t be back till Saturday. Bleh!! My evenings are boring once the girls are asleep.

I chopped and hemmed my dress for tomorrow, made a skirt for Alaethia’s lamb, per her request. I wasn’t going to do it till tomorrow night, but I was already sewing so why not. Then I did my toenails and showered. I was wide awake right after but typing this up has helped make my eyelids heavy. Goodnight!
