Everything’s OK

I thought I’d take a moment to update and let everyone know that all is okay. I wish I could say I wasn’t updating because we were on this fantastic Spring Break vacation but unfortunately, that’s far from the truth. We had a death in the family last week; Mario’s Tia Alma. It was very unexpected and sudden and we’ve been busy helping the family with anything they need (the kids are 19, 21, and 23) and helping Mary with the rosaries which have been held at Mary’s house. Alaethia’s also kept me busy and between the Rosaries, working out (yes, I’ve actually, finally started doing something), and getting to sleep at a decent hour I haven’t had much time for online things. I’ve lost a ton of visitors and in a way I’m sort of wondering if this whole blogging thing’s even worth it anymore (I’ve been doing it since 2000–that’s Forever in Blog Years). I know if I just let the site go I’ll miss it and instantly regret it, so I probably won’t do that just yet.

…so I paid some bills online and am now updating really quick. I hope she stays asleep while I get ready for bed. She’s had a tough time falling asleep today so I hope she gives me a good night’s rest, especially since it’s back to school for the boys tomorrow and I have to be up early. Hopefully, maybe I’ll post with the past week and a half’s events tomorrow while the boys are at school. Goodnight!
