Lil’ Update
Just got out of work and I’m waiting…so I figured I’d update. The last time I updated was the night before a court date…and I got no results. My brand-new lawyer didn’t show up, just as I knew he wouldn’t. So I had to get an extension. I hate this crap. I still can’t believe how everything’s turned out. But they won’t win, I promise you.
Work is great, at least. I was temping and I got hired permanently this Monday. Been there a month and a half and I love it and the people :).
And my Emily is gorgeous as ever and super smart and adorable :). She’s 18 months now and at the sponge stage, heh. She’s learning EVERY word we say, so we need to be careful!
Ok…feeling really under the weather. I’d dodged all of Emily’s and John’s illnesses so far and now that no one’s sick I get sick!!
Congrats on the hire! You deserve it, and obviously it showed. 🙂 Don’t get too discouraged over seemingly pointless court appearances. It’s insane how nearly all of them are like that. Eventually it’ll get to the end though, just be patient (lol, it know…yeah right…but trust me, patience always a least likely winner).
