You’ve GOT to Be KIDDING Me!

I’ve still got a lot to learn about WordPress! First, I thought I hadn’t gotten any comments in the past week, only to find a whole bunch of them waiting to be “moderated”! I didn’t think you guys liked me anymore *cries*. So, before I actually “found” all my missing comments I wrote a comment, just to check if it worked. It did, so I THOUGHT I erased my comment only to find out I deleted the WHOLE POST I’d just written about this weekend! ARGH! I’m a nimrod.

A turbo-summary:

Saturday – Had my boys and Mom in tow. Went to Target, bought both presents. REALLY cute baby stuff. Wanted to throw everything into cart. Restrained myself. Left to party. Found party only after driving about 2 miles more than I should have. Mom was right–had to turn around and go East. Paul & Norma’s kids are gorgeous and huge! Caught up. They moved to Dad’s street. Hope to visit soon. Kids behaved well. Had fun.

Next party was in Pharr. Opposite side of town. Found the place with no problem. Had salad only this time. Kids played. Itzel (Mrs. C-R) is 6 months along and looking really cute with her belly. Kids got lots of tickets since machines kept breaking. Left party.

Visited Gramma. She’s doing better. Can eat with no problem again. Left Gramma’s. Went to Wal-Mart. Kids wanted plastic soldiers and we couldn’t find any (WTF?). Got groceries, Mom bought the baby his/her very first outfit (a yellow gown with duckies and teddy bear slippers, aww!). Went home, made sandwiches with Mario for dinner. Went to sleep. Exhausted.

Sunday – Woke up late since I was tired. Mario was out washing the truck (on Father’s Day!). Tried to help. He hates my car-washing skills. I was put in charge of water hose. Too late to buy barbacoa from Aziz. Mary invited us to eat beef stew. Chilled out, watched TV. Helped Mary babysit Matthew, Angela and Yazmin. Picked up “boneless buffalo wings” from Pizza Hut. They weren’t wings, they were chicken nuggets. Poor kids couldn’t eat right since they were spicy. Yadira came for girls and Matthew. Kids went to Mary’s. Mario and I went to Star’s for ice cream. Got soldiers for kids at Family Dollar. Chilled out at home again. I made dinner. We ate. Eenan slept over at Mary’s. Jaylen, Mario and I went to Jorge and Maggie’s. We had a good chat. Nice seeing them after so long. Got home, cuddled, went to bed.

*whew* Stupid me. I can’t believe I did that! *slaps forehead*
