Then and Now Meme

Stolen from Kitty.

20 years ago:
I was 3. I have little flashes of memories of playing in my great-gramma’s house while my mom was doing laundry. I remember my mom bathing me in the sink. I remember certain books that I used to read (well, that I’d look through the pages of LOL).

15 years ago:
I was 8. I was in 3rd grade and I loved school. This was the first time I’d ever had an “enemy” (the other smart girl in the class constantly competed with me, but at the same time we were friends and then ended up hating each other). It was the first time I’d had my heart broken by a boy and the first time I’d ever kissed a boy on the cheek (my friend Lazaro LOL).

10 years ago:
I was 13. My mom and dad were completely separated by this time. We realized that that was it; he was never coming back and basically we could have cared less. I had the best friends in the world at this time: Sally, Vero, Dayse, Jessica, and Angie.

5 years ago:
I was 18. I was already married and a mother to a 1 year old. I was working at Old Navy—my first job ever.

3 years ago:
I was 20 and had just had my 2nd baby. I was a stay at home mom and loved being at home with my kids.

Last Year:
My Gramma got really sick and was admitted to the hospital. She was later put into a nursing home, as she would receive ’round the clock care. As a result, my Mom and brother moved out of their apartment (which was right next door) to my Aunt’s house. Mario also lost his job in April, and then got his dream job in November before his birthday.

This Year:
Eenan’s in 1st grade, and Jaylen’s 3. I finally got my license in June and started attending college in July. I also met 3 wonderful girls: Ricci, Lucy and Mayra. As hectic as it is, I’m loving life right now .

Yesterday:
Had a Girl’s Day Out with Sonia, Noelia, Elda and Mary.

Last Night:
Spent some time with Mario, then fell asleep reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Today:
Dropped Mario off at work, am doing laundry and am online. Got a few errands to run later on.

Tomorrow:
Back to school. Then I have to go to the bank and I’ve got some calls to make.

Next Year:
I’ll, God-willingly, be graduating in April and will hopefully find a great job in the weeks/months after that.

Five-Ten years from now:
I hope and pray that Mario and I either bought, or are buying our dream home. I hope we’re loving our jobs/careers and that hopefully, maybe we’re trying for our little daughter .

People I want to pass this on to: Who ever wants to do it!
