*puts paper bag over her head*

We went and saw Gramma as planned on Sunday. Mom didn’t end up going to work so she went with us. We saw Aunt Nora and Justin there. Aunt Nora took Gramma a TV and shelf :). We sat with her and talked, and then they brought her lunch so I fed her. As I fed her, I thought, “I could do this. I could feed little old people.” I’ve always wanted to do something in the medical field, but I’m not sure what. But then I thought…”Ok, maybe I’m just thinking this because I’m feeding my own Gramma and she’s cute.” LOL I don’t know if I could feed other people. And Gramma’s so pleasant…I used to volunteer at a nursing home (back in 7th grade) and some elderly people are a bit grumpy. All the nurses kept telling us how sweet Gramma is…aww

When we got into the car we noticed ants crawling all over the seats and the center console. We’d taken honey buns in the car with us and left the wrappers there and they were all over the place. We got rid of as many as we could…but I still got bitten on my butt . When we got home, Mario figured out they were coming from the fender of the car. We had the car parked wayyy on the other side of the yard and there’s tons of ants over there. They messed up the alarm–it kept going off by itself in the wee hours of the morning. I’m afraid to know what other electrical wires they’ve screwed up .

When we got home, Mom, Jaylen, Mary and I went to the church’s Jamaica…which is like this fair-type thing. Eenan stayed home with Mario. It was just down the street, so we walked there. It was OK. I was pretty damn disappointed that we didn’t win a cake at the cake walk . But we did have some nachos, a pineapple soda and a smoked turkey leg…which wasn’t as good as the ones we’ve had from H-E-B, but it was good anyway. We didn’t play many games since most of the prizes were toys…and we’re trying to get rid of toys so it didn’t seem like a good idea LOL.

Yesterday wasn’t too exciting. I actually can’t remember what we did besides the usual. I do remember Mom falling down at night and John frantically calling me to get over there. She was hyperventilating…that’s how scared she got. But she’s OK…a little sore, but OK. She scared the crap out of us though.

Today, we dropped Eenan off at school and Mario, Jaylen and I took a nap when we got home. Then I made rice and sausage for lunch, while Mario made brownies for dessert. I ate a whole row of brownies by myself! They weren’t huge brownies…but still. I just stuffed my face. Mario even called me his lil’ heffer–he’s so romantic . And then I wonder how I’m back to 120 . Bye bye 112 lbs. I think it’s because I watched “The Biggest Loser” on NBC today…or because I downloaded and have watched all the eps of “America’s Next Top Model” (we don’t get UPN)…but I’m feeling…ugly. Yes, yes, woe is me. But yeah…I’m tired of this here roll *points to belly* and I’m tired of my face breaking out. I don’t know WHAT I’ve been doing that’s making my face go crazy, but it is, and it looks so bad. I’ve been waking up with zits and I have scars from others. All this in less than two weeks. I need to start using that scar-diminishing cream I got from Mexico…it worked wonders with the scar on my chin last time. Why I’m sharing this with the internet, I don’t know…

Other than feeling like crap about myself all day, we went to a few lil’ stores around here to get some things…we finally went to Joy Dollar. I must go back when I have more cash…I love these kitchen decorations they have. I got one…and I already have two. I may get two more. But then I’m trying to minimize the amount of stuff I already have. Something else on my to-do list…finish cleaning this place up and start getting things bagged up for the garage sale. If all goes well, we should have it on Nov. 5th and 6th.

OK…it’s 12am…I should get to bed or I’ll be napping during the day again tomorrow.

Borrrrinnnngggg!

Yesterday was boring. I don’t remember doing anything but the usual (waking up, getting Eenan ready, cleaning, cooking, picking up the kids from school with Mario, then just lazying around here all day). I did make lasagna for lunch though…and I made it right this time! There was enough meat for the very top layer (unlike last time ) LOL. It was SO good! There weren’t even leftovers this time. We all got some (Mario got two huge servings), then Noey came over with her friend Amber and ate some, Big Mario and Ricky had some, then Mary, Mom and John had some. It was SO good! I could so have gone for some leftovers right now *sigh*.

Rejeana gave me a link to a game called The Crimson Room so I spent a while trying to figure it out. It’s too damn cool…I was determined to figure it out even though it took some time. John came home and I told him I figured it out and his mouth dropped…he said one of his classes last year spent the whole year trying to figure it out and he was amazed LOL. If anyone else figures it out, let me know in the comments! I tried figuring out the next two rooms and gave up, got in the shower and when I came back out, Mario had solved them both–using a walkthrough! After seeing the steps though I don’t think I could have passed those other two. Too darn confusing!

Today we woke up, got ready, and dropped Mom off at work. Then we went to see Gramma at the new nursing home she’s at. It’s pretty there. It looks like a huge house. She was so happy to see the boys, because at this place they let the whole family visit, and there’s no limit on visitors. We gave her the Diet Cokes and sugar free candies Mom got her (found out today that she indeed does have diabetes…she got two insulin injections yesterday–so we know I’m screwed and will definetly get diabetes later on). We talked with her and met her “neighbor”–the lady who shares the room with her. She was thrilled to see the boys and Eenan already has a stack of pictures he drew for her to put on her very empty walls. She also wants plants (she dropped hints when she pointed out the pretty mini rose bush the lady next to her has). We’ll hopefully visit her again tomorrow.

We came home, ate lunch, went back for Mom, brought her home since she’d be babysitting the boys for us, picked John up and then we left for the movies. He and his girlfriend’s anniversary was a few days ago so they wanted to see eachother and made plans to go to the movies. We didn’t want to drive all the way back twice, so Mario and I watched a movie too. I finally met his girlfriend, she’s a cutie and they look nice together :). We watched Taxi, which I thought was going to suck but it was pretty damn cool. I laughed so hard I snorted once …and there were people on both sides of us…

We were joking and cracking up on the way home…then Mario made me mad ’cause he wouldn’t stop at the Joy Dollar…we finally have one near by! I’d of gone myself, but the Sentra doesn’t work, I can’t drive the van and John’s car goes crooked because it needs new tires and I’m scared of driving it…blah!

I hope we do something tomorrow. We should go see Gramma again and hopefully go to a Jamaica (festival? fair) they’re having at the church. Goodnight.

Quick Update

Quick summary of the past few days…

Tuesday…Mary invited us over for dinner–enchiladas. Yadira and the girls came over. I made chocolate covered strawberries for dessert *yum*. Rick and Terry called Mario and said they said they were at the lake so we went over for a visit. I took Cookie, whom they thought was adorable. Mario helped them get their travel trailer parked and we just talked. They invited us to dinner, but since we had to go home, bathe the boys real quick and feed them, we politely declined and made plans to meet at their house to catch up and meet their new Labrador puppies. Was totally fun. The boys had a blast playing with all the huge cats, ferrets, rabbit, pig, and the 5 dogs. Jaylen was amazed at Hoover, the pig. The ferrets were too cute (one attacked me leg and tried to climb up my shorts LOL) and the rabbit was HUGE! They let him run around the house like the rest of the pets and he uses his litter box! So does the pig LOL. The Labrador puppies were too cute…the chocolate one had green eyes and was SO pretty. I’m hoping we can get one. The chocolate one also kept biting the front of the boys’ shirts and then tugging and growling at them. It was hilarious watching Jaylen run, waving his arms in the air and yelling, “NO DOGGIE! LEAVE ME ALONEEE!!” LOL It was a really nice time. We made plans to visit again soon and have a barbecue or something.

After that we went to Jorge and Maggie’s, but didn’t stay long because it was late and the boys were grumpy. Mario and Maggie were the only ones who got to play darts sigh. I was so disappointed, but there’s always another time.

Yesterday we rearranged the room and made room for the chest Aunt Nora gave us. Eenan was in desperate need of a new one…he has lots of clothes. We painted the wall that Jaylen decorated with a blue marker a few months ago confused. We also started separating stuff for another garage sale. This time, Mom will be selling the stuff she won’t be taking with her to Aunt Nora’s or putting away in storage and Aunt Nora will be bringing things to sell also. We figured how we’d separate our huge bedroom into the two bedrooms and hallway–when funds permit of course. We’d still have pretty good sized rooms. I was getting a bit frustrated with Mario saying I needed to get rid of my 8 foot while shelf, but after seeing how upset I got he said we’d keep the huge shelf in the hallway…it would fit perfectly. I can’t wait.

Mario went over to Tommy’s later and came back with a picture of Eenan, Angela and a friend of Eenan’s that Tommy had taken during lunch. They had an “Eat with your kid” thing during their lunch time and we didn’t even know about it! I was so upset. I was going to watch a movie with Mario and was so upset about it I just went straight to bed. I wish Eenan (or his teacher even, I spoke to her and she didn’t mention anything!) had told us something about it sad.

Today, we had to go pick Noelia up because her car left her stranded. One less car. The only one we have left is John’s. Then, we called to storage places to get price quotes. I feel bad Mom will have to put stuff away and sell the rest sigh. I think of how much hard earned money she spent buying her stuff and now she has to get rid of it or put it away. I hope this “good news” for the family happens soon. It seems too good to be true though. But something good will happen…it has to.

Jaylen was running outside this morning and sliced a piece of skin off his big toe. sniff It looks so painful. He’s doing ok though…I just hope it heals ok…I thought it maybe needed stiches or something but Mario said it would be fine. He knows about that stuff more than I do so…

OK…Jaylen’s grumpy and on my lap. Oh, and Cookie may be a boy. I checked his privates today and they’re looking more “boy” like razz.
