I am having the time of my life being on my 2-week vacation. I haven’t gotten as much done as I would like (I have a huge mental to-do list) but I’ve been pretty productive. Right now, we’re at Church’s waiting for our greasy, yummy lunch before we go watch National Treasure 2. My poor blog is rotting away from lack of use, so I figured I’d update while I had a a moment. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to blog at least once every few days. I have the boys’ lives archived and I’ve missed writing about most of Alaethia’s. She’s 11 months already, I can hardly believe it! Okay, will update with more later–Aly’s pinching my arm fat.
Merry Christmas!
Just a little message to say: Hope everyone’s surrounded by family and friends, with full bellies, and having a blessed and merry Christmas. If I don’t get a chance to write by then (and I hope I do) may the New Year bring prosperity, opportunities, lots of love and much happiness. Love you all!
Some Holiday Humor
I know, I know — I still haven’t updated with Part 2 of my previous blog, but I will soon, hopefully, now that I’m on Christmas vacation (2 weeks, baby!). I was checking my e-mail and just *had* to post forward Yadira sent me for one and all to see:
My dear friends,
Somewhat embarrassing to admit, I’m not getting an annual bonus and Christmas is tight this year. I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes. You’ll most likely agree that it’s a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I’ve included the instructions below:
How to make bedroom slippers:
You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most aesthetically appealing), etc.
These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: Regular, Light and Get out the Sand Bags.
I’ve attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the nifty slippers for yourself….
Awaiting your response. It’s crucial that I get the right size for each one of you.

LOVE IT!
